Chef David Tsan's kappo-style Japanese restaurant blends Japanese tradition with Taiwanese influence, with Florida seasonality in simmered, grilled, fried and raw dishes. Sit at the 12-seat chef's counter for a 15-course omakase, or order à la carte, alongside a deep sake and wine list.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Kappo Tasting Experience! Every course was excellent from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and DELICIOUS. Even the ice cream at the end was outstanding: green tea and sesame! Our server Demi was lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back

We had an amazing experience. We did the reserve omakase and it was delicious! The small plates were so good and the sushi was absolutely delicious. We’ve gone to Chef’s first restaurant, Norigami, so many times, and now we’re going to have to make Kappo Tsan another favorite and frequent spot! Ethan was our server and he was awesome as well’

We had such an outstanding culinary experience at Kappo last night, for my birthday dinner. We had been many times to its sister restaurant, Norigami in Winter Garden, and Chef David's new restaurant is absolutely phenomenal, as our 11 course meal was delicious! Most of us who chose the Reserve Omakase were very pleased with each dish/bites we got. From the Oysters, to the fried crab, to the delicious charred cod, and the nigiri, just incredible flavors! Presentation was great, and each plate with its own charm. The only "negative" aspect of our experience, is we wish we sat at the bar instead of the table. Our server was nice, but not consistent when describing each course. We all felt we were missing some information on what each dish consisted off. That being said, I highly recommend trying this new Omakasa restaurant off Palm Parway, as Chef David put a awesome team together there. Special mention to our sommelier Jessi for giving us some great insights on each wines, and for being so personable!
