The name comes from mise en place, the kitchen habit of getting everything in its place before you start. Meez does that for any recipe you find: a blog post, an Instagram reel, a TikTok, a YouTube video. Paste the link and you get the recipe laid out to cook from, one calm step at a time, with timers, a shopping list and a voice that reads it to you while your hands are busy.

Why we built it

Credit goes to the cook

Every recipe on Meez was written by someone. We name them on the recipe, link back to where it came from and never pass their recipe off as ours. Creators and food sites can claim a page on Meez to tell their story, choose which recipes show, and see how many cooks they send back to their site. If you’d rather not be here, every recipe has a link to ask us to take it down.

Where it’s going

We want Meez to be the place cooks and creators meet: follow the people whose food you love, cook their recipes step by step, and share what you made. Creators publish here first, and the cooks who follow them see it.
