The service

Meez converts recipe links into visual cooking guides, shopping lists, and narrated cook-along experiences. It’s free to use; some features (like voice narration) may require an account or a paid plan.

Recipes you import

Imported recipes remain the work of their original authors, and every imported recipe links back to its source. You’re responsible for importing content you have the right to use, and we’ll remove content when a rights holder asks us to (see copyright and takedowns).

Who can use Meez

You need to be 13 or older to use Meez, and 18 or older to post photos or clips.

Posting what you made

When you cook a recipe you can post photos or a short clip of your dish on it (“I made it”). Post only photos and clips you took yourself, of food you made. Posts are public and show your first name and last initial. A post of a recipe someone else wrote credits you for the photo and them for the recipe; it never says you wrote it.

Every post is checked automatically for unsafe content, and your first few posts are looked at by a person before they go live. Don’t post nudity or sexual content, violence or gore, anything hateful or harassing, spam or ads, or anyone else’s photos. Never post an intimate image of someone without their consent.

Anyone can report a post. A post reported as an intimate image shared without consent, or as putting a child at risk, comes down straight away while we review it, and we act on valid removal requests within 48 hours. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and close the account. We may hold or remove a post, and stop an account from posting, if it breaks these terms.

Content you upload

Photos and other content you upload stay yours. By uploading, you give us permission to store and display them as part of the service (for example, in a recipe’s photo gallery). Don’t upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that isn’t yours to share — we may remove content or suspend accounts that do.

Recipes and stories creators publish

Creators who have claimed their page can publish their own recipes, photos and stories on Meez. What you publish stays yours. By publishing, you give Meez a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, share and promote it on Meez, and to adapt it for the way Meez works: Meez Magic splits your method into single steps with timers for Cook Mode, sizes your photos, builds a shopping list from your ingredients and may suggest dishes to cook alongside it. You can edit or delete your posts at any time; the licence ends when you delete them, apart from copies people saved before then.

You confirm you own what you publish or have permission to publish it, and that it’s safe to follow. Your first posts are reviewed before they go live; after that they go live straight away, and anyone can report a post. We may hold, edit for safety or remove a post, and stop a creator from publishing, if it breaks these terms. See copyright and takedowns.

Fair use

Import limits exist so the service stays fast and free. Don’t scrape, overload, probe, or resell the service, and don’t try to work around rate limits or access controls.

Cooking is on you

Recipes, times, and temperatures come from third-party sources and automated processing — check them with your own judgment, especially for allergies and food safety. Meez is provided “as is” without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages from using it.
