1921

1921 is a quaint place to grab a bite to eat. The drinks were pleasing to the taste. A surprise hit were the Roasted Oysters and toasted Parker House rolls. The Skeeny-Cherry Rosemary butter was delightful. Each bite of roll with butter left your mouth watering. After eating the five oysters, we were craving more. The sauce had a wonderful smokey flavor, but the wings lacked seasoning. The same goes for the Smoked Baby Back Ribs. Something was missing from the Pulled pork. The pork was cooked well but no flavor.

What a beautiful interior filled with art. Amazing unique menu from the open and scratch kitchen. The quail stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos were fantastic. Plenty of free street and lot parking. Will definitely come back next time we visit Mt Dora

We dined at 1921 Mount Dora with a large group, and they handled it with ease. I’m a vegetarian, and my meal was excellent, they told us almost all the veggies are local farm fresh, and you could tell. Others had various beef dishes, which came with a unique touch, the owner explained much of it was sourced from a local high school FFA project. The entire evening was thoughtful, with attention to detail in both the food and the hospitality. The dessert they said was made fresh in the kitchen from their pastry chef!
