What an experience we had at Californio's last week! The anticipation was high after waiting 2 months, that's how long it took us to secure reservations. Our 3 hour experience was memorable and once in a lifetime! The personalized service that we received throughout the whole experience was thorough throughout the whole night. They even replaced my napkin when I went to the restroom. We had a 13 course meal I think it was actually more since there was eight desserts! They gave you a little menu program to share with you the experience of the restaurant along with each of the courses that you received. They also provided a map of where they Source their food. The food was upscaled big time from your typical Mexican food. I still was able to recognize each of the courses. Loved loved our experience with so small and intimate.

Amazing!!!! The restaurant is stunning, the service impeccable and the food was outstanding. Not only was every dish a taste treat, they were beautiful too. From the mini Tostada to the incredible array of desserts there was not a miss. The wine pairings and a trip to the kitchen brought the evening to one of our most memorable dinners. For a very special occasion go!!!!

Went here as a solo diner and had a wonderful experience! I loved most of the dishes, with the standouts being the savory flan and the mole with quail. A couple of the dessert dishes fell short for me, but overall this was one of the best meals of my life. I did feel a bit too full around halfway through the meal — perhaps the pacing was a bit too fast for me, or there were too many filling dishes in the middle. The service was amazing, very attentive and kind wait staff. They even cleaned and boxed my abalone shell for me after I asked to keep it. Overall, I’m really happy to have experienced this meal.
