A Roxborough cheesesteak counter on the same corner since 1960, run by Steve and Margie Kotridis since 2009. Fresh-cut rib-eye is chopped fine on the grill and piled on soft rolls with American, provolone or Whiz and free toppings. Deli-style hoagies and 20-plus beers too.

If you’re anywhere near Philly and don’t hit Dalessandro’s Steaks, you’re doing it wrong. Hands down one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. The meat is perfectly chopped, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the bread has that ideal balance—soft but still holds everything together. The cheese melts right into every bite, making it messy in the best possible way. Yeah, the line can get long, but it moves fast and is 100% worth the wait. The staff keeps it moving and you can tell they’ve been doing this at a high level for a long time. No frills, just elite-level cheesesteaks. I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

To me personally best cheese steak I've had so far! Many options to choose from on toppings and cheese, mine was around $17 but you get your money's worth - it's BIG. There are other things besides cheese steak and pretty sure they have drinks and beer. Order in the right window, when your order is ready they display your name on the screen and announce it on Mike/speaker and you pick up in the left window. It's CASH ONLY and there are no seats inside, some tables outside. We parked on the street and walked over, no designated parking lot. Staff was very nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

The cheesestrak sandwich was overall good, sloppy as expected (which it should be), good amount of filling and the steak was good quality. I expected more flavor from the fried onion and it was a little wet for my liking. The employees were nice and ran the business well. I liked the organization of ordering with the board and text feature. Overall, a good sandwich.
