A compact Greenpoint taco counter from chef Gerardo Alcaraz and the Aldama team, with a few counter seats. Tortillas are pressed in-house from Masienda corn nixtamalized overnight. Go for the trompo al pastor taco, vampiros, suadero and lengua, plus a salsa bar of pickled vegetables.

These tacos are STACKED! Absolutely some of the most delicious tacos NYC has to provide. The chorizo is STELLAR! Fresh and homemade 😍 I also had the pastor taco and suadero. These were also all insanely juicy, yet a little too salty. 10 out of 10, will go again! 🌮

Don’t let this small taco spot fool you…they don’t mess with the flavor! It was delicious! I’m creature of habit and I tend to go to the same taco spot all the time but I decided to venture out. It did not disappoint! It’s a small space so please don’t expect to sit down and dine but if you’re on a solo date you might get lucky and find a spot on their counter.

I thought this was a great taco. One of the best I’ve had in NYC. The suerdo taco was super flavorful. I loved all the salsas on the side. It’s $5/taco, which is a normal price in the city. Cute, small storefront with a few spots to sit. It was super fast - less than 5 min for 1 taco.
