Chef Derek Wilcox, who apprenticed seven years at Kyoto's Kikunoi, leads this intimate Edomae sushi counter in the former Urasawa space on Rodeo Drive. The omakase is an 18-course tasting menu rooted in sushi and kaiseki, with wild seafood flown in from Japan and no farmed fish.

Absolutely outstanding meal tonight at Miura. The chef has top tier technical mastery. The quality of the ingredients is also amazing. One of my favorite meals ever, which I will be remembering for a long time. I highly recommend everyone come here

This place was delicious and every bite deeply enhanced the taste of each ingredient used. Everything was so incredibly fresh, the rice was beautifully seasoned and you truly get to experience some unique dishes that are not easily found, even in Japan!

Breathtaking culinary achievement. Service was attentive. The sushi is the best I’ve had. There aren’t words to describe the tastes you’ll taste. A perfect choice for a food lover’s special occasion. Must visit.
