Chefs Darren Chang and Travis Masar cook modern Taiwanese comfort food in Denver's Five Points, shaped by Chang's Los Angeles upbringing. Order à la carte: chile wontons, beef noodle soup and crackly Taiwanese fried chicken, with tropical-leaning cocktails at the bar.

Ordered the cold sesame noodles, gua bao, and Taiwanese fried chicken. Overall, the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave great recommendations regarding portion sizes and menu items. The interior has a nice vibe as well. As for the food, we really enjoyed the gua bao and thought it was the best of the three, especially with their house made chili oil was fantastic and went well on every item, especially the gua bao. The cold sesame noodles were great as well. Every noodle was completely coated with the sauce which was extremely flavorful, almost too much so, but the vegetables in the mix toned down the intensity which made the dish even more enjoyable. Contrary to many other reviews, we both thought that the Taiwanese fried chicken was good, but not necessarily spectacular. The rice was pretty flavorful which we weren’t expecting, and the coating on the chicken was super crunchy, but the seasoning on the chicken wasn’t as crazy as some other reviews make it sound. The food is a little pricy but I believe it is fair for what you are getting, especially with the massive portion size of the chicken. Overall, this was a great dining experience with great food. I would highly recommend dining here.

5/7 -> 4 stars, don’t go out of your way, but enjoyable Overall pretty good. Really good vibe, very nice service, and good vegan options. That said, each dish was unimpressive given the price. They were all varied and creative, but lacked a depth of flavor you would expect from a fusion restaurant. Crunchy potatoes too salty, fried chicken was eh, noodles were solid, and the veggy dumplings were flavorful (these perhaps redeemed the others). Probably won’t be coming again, but am glad I tried :)

We have been here several times. The food and service are always excellent. The pork belly buns are a must have. The Jellyfish salad was spicy and delicious. San is an amazing server. Best service ever. Thank you Travis for everything. Amani was our server today and provided great advice and great service. This is a must eat at restaurant in Denver.
