Try these fantastic gochujang buttered noodles. It's a delightful fusion of both Eastern and Western flavors, all on one plate. The perfect blend of savory flavor, mild heat, and a touch of sweetness that everyone will love.

## Ingredients (serves 3)

- 11 ounces approx. 300 grams noodles or long pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons gochujang paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- finely chopped cilantro
- 1 teaspoon gochugaru (Korean chili flakes, optional)

## Steps

1. Get all the necessary ingredients ready.
2. Heat a large pot of salted water until it boils.
3. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions.
4. Reserve some of the noodles cooking water before draining, as you'll need it in the sauce later.
5. In a pan, heat butter over medium heat.
6. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
7. Add gochujang paste, gochugaru (if using), and honey to the pan, and stir for a couple of seconds.
8. Add a splash of reserved cooking water and stir to form a sauce.
9. Taste the sauce and adjust it to suit your preferences.
10. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat in the sauce evenly, adding a bit more noodle-cooking water if the noodles seem dry.
11. Turn off the heat, then add freshly squeezed lime juice and chopped cilantro, and toss to combine.
12. Top with preferred toppings and enjoy!
